This premium 18” HERA AR-15 upper half ,without forward assist, was designed for the shooter that demands high quality and ergonomics from their equipment. This complete upper delivers the speed, controllability, and precision required to engage the most demanding situations. This upper comes standard with the HERA Arms 15” M-Lok hand guard .  All HERA complete uppers come standard with an M16 profile bolt carrier group.

MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION

• UPPER RECEIVER: HERA Mil-Spec with hand guard indexing tabs, M4 feed ramps, HERA dust door. CNC Machined of 7075-T6 Aluminum, Type III Hard Coat Anodized
• This model upper is without forward assist. We also offer uppers with forward assist.
• BARREL: 5.56 chambered 18 inch modern series barrel is machined from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a QPQ corrosion resistant finish and QPQ coated M4 feed ramp extensions. Sub-MOA accuracy guarantee with quality ammunition. 

This barrel features a longer .750” profile dimension necessary for proper installation of the OPS Inc 12th model collar and suppressor.

• GAS SYSTEM: Low profile HERA gas block CNC Machined ,rifle length stainless steel gas tube, direct Impingement.
• MUZZLE DEVICE: A2 standard flash hider.

• Material: Domestic Aircraft Quality 8620 Steel.
• Gas Key: 4130 Steel: Grade 8 Gas Key Screws (properly staked).

BOLT SPECIFICATIONS:

• Bolt Material: 9310 or C158
• Extractor Material: 4140 Steel
• Mil-Spec O-Ring
• Mil-Spec Gas Rings (3)
• Cam Pin Material: 4140 Steel
• Firing Pin Material: Hard Chrome/Ground 8740
• Other: MPI Tested, Shot Peened

Life time warranty on bolt and carrier
