HERA 16″ Upper with Forward Assist

Details:

Crafted for shooters who demand top-notch quality and ergonomic design, this premium 16″ HERA AR-15 upper half, featuring a forward assist, is engineered to deliver speed, control, and precision in the most demanding scenarios. Equipped with the Hera Arms 12” M-Lok handguard as standard, all HERA complete uppers include an M16 profile bolt carrier group.

Materials & Construction:

• Upper Receiver: Hera Mil-Spec build with handguard indexing/locking tabs, M4 feed ramps, and Hera dust door. CNC Machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum with a Type III Hard Coat Anodized finish. This model comes with a forward assist, though options without are also available.
• Barrel: Featuring a 1:7 Twist Rate, this 16-inch M4 profile carbine length barrel is chambered in 5.56 and crafted from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a QPQ corrosion-resistant finish. Sub-MOA accuracy guarantee with quality ammunition.
• Gas System: Low-profile HERA gas block CNC Machined, mid-length stainless steel gas tube, utilizing direct impingement.
• Muzzle Device: A2 standard flash hider

Carrier Specifications:

• Material: Domestic Aircraft Quality 8620 Steel.
• Gas Key: 4130 Steel: Grade 8 Gas Key Screws, properly staked.

Bolt Specifications:

• Bolt Material: 9310 or C158.
• Extractor Material: 4140 Steel with Mil-Spec O-Ring and Mil-Spec Gas Rings (3).
• Cam Pin Material: 4140 Steel.
• Firing Pin Material: Hard Chrome/Ground 8740. MPI Tested and Shot Peened.

Handguard: Hera 12″ M-Lok, CNC Machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum with a Type III Hard Coat Anodized finish.

Charging Handle: Standard AR-15 charging handle.
