The Hera Arms H15GL Pistol Grip offers an innovative leather grip for the AR-15/AR-10 platform, combining elegance and functionality. The inner compartment at the bottom of the handle is ideal for storing smaller items such as batteries. Made from fiberglass-reinforced and impact-modified polymer, this grip is extremely light, robust, and long-lasting.
The standout feature of the H15GL pistol grip is the leather winding with a 3 mm thick leather strap. This natural material ensures high breathability, durability, and an exceptional grip during use. I was excited when I received the grip and immediately went to put it on. I found that it was a bit wide on my AR and pushed against the selector so i’d have to push it in slightly to flick it to fire. The next issue was it quickly became loose while holding my rifle, turns out the grip was already splitting on the seam. After a time, eventually the hole for the bolt widened enough allow it to simply slide off the entire gun. I liked the look of it for when it was there, but that’s where the positives end. Extremely disappointed with the quality of this grip.

I was contacted by Austin with their support team who worked with me to figure out what was wrong with the faulty one I received (a rarity). They sent a replacement and I could not be more satisfied, the grip feels amazing and changing the material is easy (if you’d want to switch it.) Fits nicely in the hand and the leather provided feels high quality along with the other materials used.
