HERA Germany made the CQR as an angled grip since they also offer a vertical grip (HFG). The ATF is no longer ruling on accessories. They are only ruling on complete firearm builds. If you want your setup to be evaluated by the ATF you will need to install the CQR grip and any other accessories you wish to have reviewed and send your full rifle to the ATF technology branch for a ruling and letter.
